An award from Computing.co.uk is a big deal. On the list of nominees, we were brushing shoulders with big names like Vodaphone, IBM, Sky, and Xledger as finalists. Computing is a household name, a media giant in our industry of tech and software development. Our CEO Simon Kearsley put it perfectly in his email out to all the internal staff following our win:
“In days gone by when people printed things, there would have been multiple copies around the offices of pretty much every IT company.”
To an SME like ourselves, getting recognition from our peers in tech, in a category dominated by corporate giants means the world to us. It shows we can hold our own against the “big boys” just through the power of good software development. The hard work finally paid off.

That’s right. bluQube is the Best Cloud Finance Solution in 2022 and 2023. Now we’d be happy with any award but to win the category that aligns perfectly with our core goal makes it all the more meaningful to us.
We think it’s because in a sea of bland commoditised software products being the “Best” is less about what you do, it’s how you do it.
There are a few things we do that we think make us special. Special enough to win “Best Finance Cloud Finance Solution” anyway…An 80% customer retention rate over the last 10 years? That’s pretty remarkable.
